Water is Life

Mni Wiconi is an English approximation of the Lakota term which translates, essentially, to “water is life”.

Based on my waterforms design from the bandana cover for the Wellspring portfolio.

A stylized line drawing of water shows the waves drawn similarly to rainbows, with overlapping and woven lines. The crashing waves make volutes, or curlicues.  The Lakota words, “Mni wičoni!” is placed above, and below it states: “Solidarity with Standing Rock.”
