Bear Hanky

Stand out at the Bear Party!

These hankies were originally printed as an insert in Secret Pockets, an artist book I curated and created as a residency with Encyclopedia Destructica; they have been popular, so I printed a larger version onto blank bandanas. I have since created many more animal hankies, but these bears were the first.

These utilitarian prints make reference to gay hanky code and the pantheon of animals associated with queer cultures and subcultures.

These are hand-printed, heat set, and ready to be broken in! Choose your colors at checkout.

Currently available colors: red ink on chambray blue fabric, gold ink on brown fabric.
