Protests in Print at NYPL

August 15, 2016

Many Justseeds-related publications are included in the current “flash exhibition” Protests in Print at the New York Public Library. Signal, the Librarians and Archivists to Palestine zine, and some Interference Archive booklets are on display now through August 31st at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at the main branch of the NYPL.

From the NYPL:

Protests in Print is a display of political and social justice-oriented zines. As a means of personal expression, social justice activism, and the dissemination of information, zines have long been useful tools for political movements and marginalized groups to spread ideas not included in mainstream publications. Come view this selection of some of the Library’s most recent acquisitions, including literature related to the Occupy movement, at the DeWitt Wallace Periodical Room. And while you’re here, check out the rest of our Alternative Press and Zine Collection to discover more of these unique treasures.
