I’ve been meaning to post this for awhile, it’s a nice follow-up to Icky’s post about Gerd Arntz. There’s a great article on the Council Communist Archive website about Frans Seiwert and the Cologne Progressives, with more information about the politics and engagement of artists like Arntz, Siewert, and their peers in the 1920s and 30s, as well as info on their publication A bis Z.
