Communities across the U.S. are coming together and summoning their rage in the face of rising fascism. While ICE kidnappings, detentions, and deportations have increased across several cities in recent months, so have bold, creative and rapid response efforts, and a growing demand to abolish ICE, a U.S. immigration system inherently violent by design.
We’re calling on visual artists everywhere to submit graphic art that will further amplify and support existing and emerging efforts to keep our communities safe against ICE. Graphic art should have messaging that is pro-im/migrant justice, anti-kidnapping / deportation / detention, and overall pushes our collective imaginations to envision and organize towards a future without ICE and without borders.
How the graphics will be used: Submitted, chosen graphic art will become part of a ‘graphics package’ available for free download on Justseeds’ website. Images are intended to be shared online and/or printed out and distributed. We will encourage them to be used as imagery for flyers, action announcements, demonstrations, in home and storefront windows, and any other public spaces. Images that are part of the package are not for profit.

About Justseeds’ graphic care packages: Over the past couple of years, one of Justseeds’ most popular initiatives has been the creation and distribution of free, high-resolution political graphics files, including a series of “graphic care packages,” organized around political struggles, including direct action against pipelines, the fight against anti-Asian racism, and mutual aid in response to Covid-19. These graphics packages have been downloaded tens of thousands of times, and the images have been used on social media, flyers and posters, t-shirts, street art, publications, and in exhibitions across the globe.
Asunto: ABOLIR A LA MIGRA / ICE FUERA DE TODOS LADOS
Comunidades a lo largo de Estados Unidos, se están uniendo y convocando su rabia frente al ascenso fascista. Mientras los secuestros, detenciones y deportaciones de ICE (la migra) incrementan en muchas ciudades en estos últimos meses, también aumentan los esfuerzos de respuestas rápidas y creativas, así como la demanda para abolir ICE (la migra), un sistema de migración Estadounidense que fue diseñado inherentemente violento.
Hacemos un llamado a artistas visuales en cualquier parte del mundo, a subir gráficos que amplíen y apoyen los esfuerzos para mantener nuestras comunidades seguras de la migra. Los gráficos deben tener mensajes que sean pro migrante, en contra de: secuestros, deportaciones y detenciones, pero sobre todo, imágenes que le den un empujón a nuestras imaginaciones colectivas que visualicen y organicen hacia un futuro sin migra y sin fronteras.
¿Cómo se utilizarán estos gráficos?: Una vez mandados, los gráficos enviados, serán parte de un “paquete gráfico” que estará disponible para descarga, de manera gratuita, en la página de Justseeds. Las imágenes tendrán el propósito de ser usadas para flyers, acciones, anuncios, demostraciones, en ventanas de casas y tiendas, y cualquier otro espacio público. Las imágenes que son parte de un paquete, no son para beneficios económicos.
