DE LA TIERRA SOMOS

¡NO SOMOS ILEGALES!

The Little Red Nest is honored to present DE LA TIERRA SOMOS ¡NO SOMOS ILEGALES!, a solo exhibition by the internationally celebrated printmaker Carlos Barberena. Through striking relief prints that inspire action, Barberena’s work navigates the brutality of these times to insist on our shared humanity. His work reflects on the endless cycles of repression and resistance that mark his life from dictatorship to revolution, from erasure to renewal. Barberena notes, “I create to counteract the great silence around the interconnected repression occurring around the world. I believe we are all intimately connected.”
