Kitchen Table Puppets + Press present a youth anti-surveillance puppet show following the stories of Jae, Rosie and Mo resistance to big tech and data’s takeover of their school.
Kitchen Table Puppets and Press (KTPP) is back and excited to present another giant puppet show “Digital Dystopia: Kicking Big Brother Out of Schools” in partnership with NOTICE Coalition, Twin Cities Innovation Alliance, GPS network and Edgelands Institute. A Youth anti-surveillance puppet show following the stories of Jae, Rosie and Mo resistance to Big Tech and Data’s takeover of their school.
Opening performances include “Shake Off” by Tanima and a selection from “An Anansi Experience” by Anthony Michael Stokes, two incredible performers and artists based in Chicago!
The event will be sliding scale with no one turned away for a lack of funds. Suggested donation, if you have the means, is +$10! Tickets available here.
There is also an open to the public non-ticketed community night market after the show.
