I created this graphic in 2024 in collaboration with Housing Justice for All in New York. Housing prices were out of control, and since then, have only continued to skyrocket across the country. In Providence, Rhode Island, we are facing a housing crisis. According to a report published by the City Council, “Nearly half of Providence renters and over a third of homeowners are housing-cost burdened, spending more than they can afford just to stay housed.” This poster is now available as a free download to anyone doing housing justice work, with initiatives to freeze rents to stabilize our communities.
