Jamil Al-Amin, formerly known as H.Rap Brown, is a U.S. political prisoner. Al-Amin was an activist involved with both the Black Panthers and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee in the 1960’s. He has been incarcerated since 2002 for an event that took place in Alabama.
