This is the twentieth pack of free fonts designed by the artists and cooperative members of Justseeds. Font pack 20 includes two historical script fonts, Antianticommunism and Peligro.
Antianticommunism comes from the pamphlet ‘Against Modern Anti-Communism’, published by the Peace and Socialism Publishing House from Czechoslovakia in 1970 (sent to me by Josh MacPhee). The accompanying essay in the pamphlet is a convoluted, hold-the-course, defense of the Soviet status quo following the suppression of the Prague Spring in 1968 aimed at Western skeptics; but it has a lovely cover with a simple, condensed, script. Peligro comes from a poster produced by the Taller de Gráfica Popular in 1958 from the words printed under a relief print by Leopoldo Méndez. It is an expressive, bold, and adaptable typeface. Both fonts come with numerous alternates, and Peligro includes many simple serif’d versions that can act as title or alternate capitals. Both fonts were engineered by Alec Dunn

This Creative Commons license means that these fonts can be used, shared, and adapted; attributed when appropriate; and any adaptations must fall under the same license. This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format. If you remix, adapt, or build upon the material, you must license the modified material under identical terms.
These fonts can be used for activist projects of all sorts. These fonts can also be used for liberatory social and cultural productions. These fonts are not for sale and must be shared freely.
