“While thousands of people live in camps and shelters, it is unacceptable that hundreds of homes are vacant, particularly homes obtained by banks through foreclosure. At the center of this story is Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, one of the institutions with the highest number of foreclosures on the island”.

Quote from “The Earthquake and Banco Popular: How Puerto Rico’s Largest Bank Hinders a Just Recovery” by Abner Dennis Arte por/art by @sugeilyrodriguez.lebron para/for @agitarte_cultural_works.

Women huddle together under the rubble of fallen structures, buildings, electrical lines in this muted-toned watercolor image. Below them a line of silhouettes of people, refugees.

Seattle’s International Working Women’s Day for Palestine and Beyond

“We stand in solidarity with our Palestinian siblings in Gaza and those among our community who are directly and indirectly affected by the current war and genocide by the Israeli settler-colonial regime. Passive observation of the horrors of bombings, genocide, and prolonged apartheid is not our way. We must rise and firmly proclaim that Palestinian Liberation is a Feminist Imperative.” – Feminists for Jina Seattle
