At the Portland DSA art build the other day we were talking about the idea of salting – taking a job at a non-union workplace with the intent of organizing or radicalizing the workers – and the conversation eventually turned to ICE, which has been offering huge signing bonuses to the hapless dupes that join. Take that money and run? Take that money and try to turn the meatheads against their bosses? What is the best way to fight back against these organizations that isn’t just trying to fight them in the street or wait until their orders change?
