This graphic was instigated by the murder of another Minneapolis resident by ICE/Border Patrol agents. Alex Jeffrey Pretti, an ICU Nurse at the Veteran Affairs, was killed while documenting the repressive actions of these Federal Govcrment agents.
The morning following Alex’s murder I heard the Jimmy Cliff version of the song A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall, written by Bob Dylan, born in Minnesota. The line “Where the executioners face is always well hidden” stood out as relevant.
The state mete out its violence with masked agents to preserve their anonymity. They may think they can commit these acts with impunity. But as Dylan’s chorus declares “a hard rain’s a-gonna fall!
