Solidarity With Gaza — by Kevin Lo
This poster was originally designed in 2009 during the invasion of the Gaza Strip, in support of the BDS movement. It was disseminated widely as a digital image, and in 2013 was reworked as a 4-colour silkscreen poster. Kevin Yuen Kit Lo (http://www.lokidesign.net/) is a Montreal based art director, graphic designer and community organiser.
Toward Freedom (Palestine) by Josh MacPhee
As a person critical of nationalism, the flags are disassembled, each pennant only carrying one color of the national flag, but I also want to recognize the existence of a specific and meaningful Palestinian identity and claim to the land of Palestine.
Imaging Apartheid is a collaborative project involving artists from around the world and a close collaboration with the Justseeds Artists’ Cooperative, the Imaging Apartheid project aims to distribute poster art inspired by the struggle of the Palestinians.
Imaging Apartheid comes in support of the 2005 Palestinian call for a global boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement against Israeli apartheid policies & in support for Palestinian liberation.
