Friends of Ibn Firnis (Baltimore-based political comics artists—we’ve sold their work on Justseeds before, and hopefully will again soon!) just took a trip to Portugal, and found some great street art. The streets of Porto appear to be quite, but the Oficina Arara has been extremely active, covering walls with their imagery. The imagery is phenomenal, a mix of political surrealism, the aesthetic of early 20th Century novels-without-words, and a throw-back to the Spanish Civil War posters of artists like “Sim” and Helio Gomez.
