This piece was created while I was teaching a printmaking workshop at the amazing Sitka Art Center on the Oregon coast. For me this piece is about the fact that we humans are part of nature, not separate from it. Our natural surroundings are changed by us, and change us. The skulls on the forest floor document our contribution to the landscape.
