A tribute to the nocturnal pollinators- moths! I went to a mothing event hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the more flamboyant species- the Luna Moth and Rosy Maple, but found myself enraptured by them all. I felt a bit guilty when I found out that artificial light disorients them, interfering with their need to use the moon for navigation. This risograph print is a collage of the photos I took that night. I imagined an eclipse of moths fluttering around a glittering disco ball, cruising like the denizens of an underground dance party.
