Made during a few sleepless nights watching ICE terror unfold at an industrial scale across a city I used to live in (Minneapolis) and the city I live in now. I was imagining this present buried under a future where we take power and build the world we want, and all of this brutality and exploitation is just paleontology. It's going to take all of us to stop the terror and to bring that future within reach.
This is a two-layer print, first a linocut and then some antique wood type. Made by me on a flatbed hand-crank Vandercook 3 letterpress at my home studio in Portland.
