Bunnicula is the lionhead rabbit that's been in my life since 2019. The made-up Latin is from Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale: “Don’t let the bastards grind you down.” Now more than ever. The image is from my contribution for the Justseeds’ 2020 Community Supported Art portfolio.
My rabbit is sweet and cute, but don’t let that fool you. They are their own self, and they are not going to let the forces of oppression grind them down. And they might know where to find a knife if it comes to that.
