The basic graphic element of this poster—a fedayeen holding a rifle aloft—is borrowed from the cover of a 7" vinyl single released by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (GC) during the civil war in Lebanon, most likely sometime in the early 1980s (more information about the record can be found here). Originally a photograph, I've stylized the figure and repeated it to create this patterned yet simple poster design.
