This screen-print is an ode to my original Poco a poco block print, whose linoleum eventually melted!
I wanted to print it bigger and colorful and here it is! Hot-off-the-press!
Poco a poco (little by little) is a reminder to take it easy, to take the slower route back home, to breathe before going for it, to pace myself. Slow is beautiful, as my partner Vee would say. And it's true, I'm trying to slow down and de-entangle myself from “the grind.” Resisting white supremacy and capitalism’s call for urgency.
