These are remainders from the graphic mobilization and urban wheat-pasting initiative surrounding the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico.
Printed in 2010, the posters are newly available, however not in pristine shape (some bent edges).
Esta imagen fue elaborada en el taller de la Escuela de Cultura Popular Martires del 68 en la ciudad de México. Este diseno es parte de una serie de carteles y de un fanzine, con el lema Ante la Destruccion Ambiental, Organizacion que tienen como meta difundir y concientizarnos acerca de los problemas que el sistema capitalista le ha ocasionado al planeta entero, además esta serie de carteles denuncia abiertamente que la soluciones reales acerca de los problemas ambientales que actualmente sufrimos no vendrán del mismo sistema que los ha creado.
Esta imagen muestra por un lado la muerte impuesta por el sistema en una tierra árida , pero también muestra la reconciliación de la vida con el pasado, es decir la planta de maíz es la esperanza de la vida que se resiste a ser eliminada, la mujer zapatista, el niño y la lucha de nuestro pueblos originarios por la vida. Otros mundos pueden ser posibles aun.

This image was made at the Escuela de Cultura Popular Martires del 68 in Mexico City. This design is part of a series of posters and a zine, all of them were created under the slogan Ante la Destruccion Ambiental, Organizacion. The posters goals were to spread the word and educate about the problems that the capitalist system has created and are affecting the entire planet. These posters also openly denounce the false solutions to Climate Change. And states that the real solutions to environmental problems wont come through the same system that created them.
In this image system imposed death is depicted as infertile land, but also the reconciliation of life with the past is shown. The corn plant is the hope of life that resists extermination, the Zapatista woman, the child and the struggle for life of indigenous peoples. Other worlds are still possible.
