The statement "THERE ARE TRANS PEOPLE HERE" is the title of a poem by H. Melt. Women & Children First bookstore originally commissioned River Kerstetter to create this artwork. It is an affirmation that fights against the erasure of trans people from public life, made by the hands of two trans artists.
The second edition of this letterpress poster reads "THERE ARE TRANS PEOPLE HERE" in alternating pink and blue letters on white paper.
