This collaboration mixes Melanie’ Cervantes drawing of a Xicana with a pattern Jesus Barraza pieced together from a Toltec stone stamp created about 3,000 years ago. The stamp was one of many that were created to print patterns on fabric and paper.

This mix of ancient and new brings together printmakers across generations.
