During the summer of 2011, I was in Belgium and printed this portfolio. I did not have access to transparency printing, so I did ink drawings directly on transparencies to make the screenprints. It was my first time doing this, and I like how the finished results feel more like straight drawing and less “designed” than some of my other prints do.
It was a lot of fun to print a portfolio and make a cardboard case for it. I made 20 copies and about 13 made it back from Belgium. Check out the sweet basketball hoop Sven made on the cover sheet. He made it from a pallet, a broken chair, and a potato sack.
