I’m reviving my old photo series “read the writing on the wall.”
To kick it off again here’s a flick I took while hiking Breakneck Ridge, New Years Day 2013. Opposite this scrawl on the stone is an incredible view of the Hudson River and Storm King Mountain on the other side. Indeed, heaven is a place on Earth.

We didn’t realize how terrible of an idea it was until part way up the snow-packed, icy rock face, that we learned one of our crew was a couple months pregnant… Everyone made it up and down safely.
