Support Booklyn’s Education Program

November 20, 2024

Booklyn has long been a sister project to Justseeds, helping us distribute our print portfolios for over a decade now. Over the past couple of years they have really boosted their youth education program, including an incredible after school program for 1st through 5th graders (“Zines After School”—which might be the only zine-specific after school program in the country!), regular kids’ zine camps, self-publishing workshops in public parks, programming at organizations like the Brooklyn Community Pride Center and Mixteca (a space dedicated to the Mexican & Latin American immigrant community), as well as zine education through the Brooklyn public library system.

They’re kicking ass, but could really use a little help, so they are putting on a modest fundraiser, trying to bring in $5,000 over the next three weeks. If you can support their awesome work, it would be much appreciated! Check out more information and donate HERE.
