Dump the Prison Stock

This poster “Dump the Prison Stock” is part of a divestment campaign aimed at privatized prison and refugee “detention” corporations. Tax dollars are paid to these businesses that perpetuate the prison industrial complex, at a profit to their shareholders.

A colorized photograph of a young boy in dark brown and light yellow colors is featured prominently. He reaches out his hand and holds an orange and black butterfly. Behind him are the barbed wire fences and security towers of a maximum security prison. Text in bold lettering states: “Dump the prison stock! Invest in Humanity. Prison industry divestment campaign. Abolish prisons. Free all immigrants in detention. No more deportations. Stop the raids. Legalization now!”
