IVAW developed a field organizing program to encourage leaders, chapters, and regions to engage in leadership development and non-violent direct action campaigns in order to build a GI and veterans movement strong enough to end the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, attain quality veteran’s healthcare, and rebuild Iraq.
