I made this design in 2001, to honor the memory of South African anti-apartheid activist Steve Biko. He was one of the leaders of the Black consciousness movement and helped spread the concept Black is Beautiful, his quote helps us understand the importance of organizing and working to empower oppressed people with knowledge.
