A gorgeous, large and colorful poster from our comrade Carles García O’Dowd, a New York-based, Spanish-Irish artist originally from Palma, Mallorca.
"A project commissioned by Save the Med Foundation to support their mission to protect marine ecosystems in my homeland, the Balearic Islands. Shortlisted in the World Illustration Awards, it is a very special project for me. I grew up in Mallorca and spent most of my summers swimming in its waters, diving from the rocks, and exploring caves and coves. In my lifetime I have seen the destruction that greedy industries perpetuate, as well as the effects of climate change. I’m happy to collaborate with organizations whose missions I believe in."
