This is a letterpress piece I printed by hand in 2007. In my tradition of naming my prints after songs from the 80's, I named this after one of my favorite lines from a song by the police. The print is titled, "From The Banks of Chaos."
I was definitely feeling chaotic, lost, and confused when I made it. The figure is waving goodbye - a farewell to all the negative stuff that was in her mind. But one little voice still looms, its the voice that is full of judgement and critique. It's the short figure in the piece.
