This is a poster version of the 12 illustrations that I made for the upcoming project Under Pressure- a zine about plant medicine for difficult times, created by myself and Janet Kent of Medicine County Herbs. The poster features woodcut illustrations of twelve plants utilized by herbal practitioners to produce tonics and nervines that help people deal with stress and tough times- something that we can all relate to at this particular moment in history. They include Ashwagandha, Wood Betony, Hawthorn, Lavender, Reishi, St. John's Wort, Sage, Milky Oats, Rose, Holy Basil, Vervain and Motherwort.
This poster is printed by hand on partly recycled Mr. French paper, with a rainbow roll of lilac and light green inks and a single top-layer of black.
