This is a one color print of a cat DJ. This print is a celebration of craftspeople who practice their craft for years upon years. It's also a celebration of all things "analog." In our quest for everything to be more immediate, we lose quality (in the case of music, we lose sound quality). It's also a tribute to my friends who play music at parties, organize fundraisers and other events, most often without pay, in order to share culture and create a space for play. Play is necessary for our mental health and social well being, and is often under-valued within radical spaces. This is a reminder that culture and social gathering play an important role within social change.
