Originally a stenciled poster I designed at a cultural and media worker encuentro during the Zapatistas- Otra Compaña in 2006. The Zapatista struggle for Indigenous rights and autonomy have been an inspiration to me for decades now! The text translates to “We sow the seeds of the revolution!” which I chose as an embodiement of the Zapatista experiment.

If you are unfamiliar with the E.Z.L.N. or the Zapatista struggle, come on down to the Interference Archive, in Brooklyn, and I’ll give you a bibliography and lesson!
