I often need to remind myself about the intense contradictions of a political system which simultaneously mobilizes people to vote, cuts them from the voting rolls, installs machines with massive accuracy issues, and is based on a system where the popular vote isn't even what decides a presidential election. So, yes, go vote—but don't be too surprised when it doesn't add up to much. Of all the tools we can wield in the service of political transformation, voting gets the most attention and consistently yields the least results.
