This print is 13 years in the making! I originally created this vulture back in 2011, as a giant, hand-painted billboard element for Justseeds' contribution to that year's Pittsburgh Biennial (some info, and image of me painting the vulture, is also on our site here and here).
The title, while an open-ended statement about this country I live in, is also the name of a song by Gil Scott-Heron. I find Scott-Heron's songs often speak more effectively than any political slogan.
Screen printed beautifully in seven shades of blue by Jesse Purcell at Repetitive Press in Toronto.
