Colin and I created this print specifically for the exhibition "Carlos Cortéz and Allied Artists" that took place April 1st-May 14th, 2011 at Walker's Point Center for the Arts in Milwaukee. Our print is based upon the Cortez print "Draftees of the World Unite! You Have Nothing to Lose But Your Generals!" If Cortez was alive today he would urge Wisconsin workers not to be caution in fighting back against Gov. Walker. Cortez would implore us to think beyond the ballot box and to seize this opportunity to create real change. i.e. the power of the General Strike.
