CPH Posters and the Sidewall Mural Project

February 20, 2018

It’s been really exciting to work the past year with the Sidewall Mural Project in Pittsburgh to produce a series of six Celebrate People’s History posters as 8 ft tall by 4 ft wide mini-murals on the side of a building at the corner of 608 S. Millvale and Lima Way. Every other month has seen a new poster take on this larger scale and stage, with Sidewall choosing diverse images and subjects, from portraits (Audre Lorde, Amilcar Cabral, James Baldwin) to events (the Battle of Blair Mountain, the Homestead Strike) to groups (Jane, an underground abortion service).
