Chicana Power Mama

This coloring page is adapted from an event poster I designed for a book event held at UC Berkeley. Two panels were organized with speakers talking about the books Chicana M(other)work and Chicana Movidas. I illustrated a badass student Chicana Mama because throughout my education I saw how they both committed to their studies and their children so I wanted to reflect that chingonaness in the poster. Now you can print out this coloring page and celebrate it too!

A young woman with hoop earrings and a long black braid, holds a toddler-age child on her hip. Both smile at the viewer, and stand against a flowering nopal cactus. “CHICANA POWER” is written on her shirt.
