We Got This

Celebrate people’s history! This image by Fernando Martí was originally created as a poster for the Howard Zinn Book Fair. It celebrates movements past, present, and future- including the Black Panther Party, the American Indian Movement, the United Farm Workers, and more. This graphic can be found in Be the Change! A Justseeds Coloring Book, co-published with Radix Media.

A comic book-style drawing of a group of people, one is a woman holding a small child, another is a young person holding a crow bar and wearing a T-shirt with a “squat” symbol on it. Behind them a collage of wheat-pasted posters on a wall, including the Black Panther Party panther logo, “STRIKE ON ILA38-7”, a large United Farm Workers eagle logo, “Indian Land,” a poster of a burning cop car and the words “NO APOLOGIES” above, and a poster featuring portraits with Chinese characters above and the words, “Ipaglaban Ang International Hotel.”
