Palestinians have called for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions of Israel since 2005 until these three demands are met:
1. Ending its occupation and colonization of all Arab lands and dismantling the Wall
2. Recognizing the fundamental rights of the Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel to full equality; and
3. Respecting, protecting and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194.
There are two versions of this print, both on white paper. One black ink, and one red/black rainbow roll which looks more like a black/brown roll across the middle of the print. It's a subtle but interesting shift in tone.
The print features the Palestinian Keffiyeh, a scarf that symbolizes resistance to occupation and solidarity with the Palestinian people with the words Boycott Divestment Sanctions Now in English, and Free Palestine in Arabic.
