It is empowering to envision a world so in love with the sacred feminine and the earth that no more women are murdered or go missing, where our right to body sovereignty and access to chosen medical care is supported and celebrated, where faith isn’t policed by the state or the patriarchy, where all gender expressions are welcomed and all bodies feel safe in public spaces. This design is my own twist on the hamsa symbol, a traditional SWANA talisman symbolizing protection. May it be so.
