This screenprint is a new edition of my 2018 print for our Community Supported Art (CSA), which was inspired by working with ARYSE, programming that supports immigrant and refugee students in Pittsburgh. ARYSE programs are planned around four major themes that build on students' natural resiliency and talent including: English language learning, academic preparedness, storytelling through creative expression, and team building through sports. I created this original print after screenprinting with ARYSE's girls art and maker group. A part of previous editions were gifts to donors for ARYSE's fundraising campaign. I made a new edition with a new colorway, and wanted to share some on Justseeds.
