Burying Beetle

Price
$25

The American Burying Beetle (nicrophorus americanus) is an iconic North American species of arthropod that has facilitated the decomposition of dead animals for many hundreds of thousands of years. This is one of a series of blocks carved while in residence at Casa Tres Patios in Medellin, Colombia. Two blocks printed on a Vandercook 3 Letterpress in Portland, OR on Fluorescent White Cranes Lettra paper.
