"Nuestro futuro se encuentra en el corazon de la lucha: Our future is found in the heart of the struggle." I return again and again to this idea of struggle, both external ("la lucha continua / la lutta continua"), and internal. The image is my interpretation of a Sufi winged heart, with an anatomical heart, the bone structure of a wing, a map of the northern sky, and hands raised up together to receive the gifts of struggle.
These prints are the remaining edition from our Community Supported Art program in 2016.
