This "Free Our Elders" design was originally developed to support the "Let Our People Go: Week of Action," a decarceration effort in Illinois during the hight of the COVID pandemic. Do to the local communities positive response to the design, it was redesigned as a screen print with the of the abstracted storm and wave background to highlight the importance of decarceration and abolition in the face of the growing climate crises.
