Hang Onto Each Other

I made this print with the theme “Love and Justice” in mind. I was thinking of how important our relationships with each other are, and how supporting each other is crucial to any part of our struggle for Justice. It can be easy to get caught up in the day-to-day work and forget how vital our community is to our life experience. When we are surrounded by a culture that values object over relationships it is nice to have a reminder that we must “hang onto each other” to get through this.  Also, the text is respectfully lifted from the band A Silver Mt. Zion.

These prints are the remaining edition from our Community Supported Art program in 2016.
