A risograph print of this old favorite, my dream queer scout badges poster. All the badges you can aspire to earn as a queer scout! I have made some of these badges into actual embroidered badges, which you can purchase here
This is a 4-layer print of yellow, blue, hot pink and black, with extra colors made in the overlaps. The risograph printing process, if you're not familiar with it, is like the perfect combination of silkscreen printing and photocopying, and is gaining popularity with artists and small presses to make prints, zines, and mini comics. I originally made this print with Papier le Peu, the RZ 990W risograph at OCAD University, in the the Printmaking and Publications department where I worked while living in Toronto after grad school. This recent edition was printed on my own EZ-390 at my studio Lavender Estero in beautiful Pittsburgh, PA. I'm really loving continuing to experiment and see what this machine can do!
