Solidarity Sunflowers patch

I made this linocut during a residency at Playa, along the shores of Summer Lake in Eastern Oregon in April of 2018. The teachers strikes were much on my mind, as well as the eternal desire for a meaningful and integrated left. This is an attempt to get back to basics.
